








Technology is wonderful, but there are trade-offs. These postcards were designed to be reminiscent of the days when family and friends would sent them with the hackneyed expression, "Wishing you were here." Despite the benefits of today's instant communication, there was something endearing about the getting a card in the mail and often after the sender had returned home. A whole lot of romance has been lost. When designing postcards, typography is critical to setting the tone and when no text is present, letting the viewer's imagination determine what is being conveyed.
